Welcome to Obsidian Ancients' Boss Guide 2.3!

    Third up - Armadyl Godwars

Requirements - 70 Ranged (Cannot be potted to required level)

Strategy - Kree'arra; Level 580. This is the Armadyl Godwars boss, This boss
can use all combat styles, It's range does damage of 600+. The melee attack only occures when you don't attack the boss and when it is aggressive on you.
The Range prayer is HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. Like all other godwars bosses you need to have 40 kill count, which is recommended to kill the low level anviansies
which also drop 4 adamantite bars noted. Leech prayers work great on Kree'arra but the normal Prayer books' Eagle Eye is also good for the kills
Broad-tipped Bolts are suggested for the Kill Count and the Sub Bosses.

Valuable Drops: Armadyl Hilt, Armadyl Chestplate, Armadyl Chainskirt, Armadyl Helmet

Note - To get into the Armadyl Eyrie you must have a mithril grappling hook to cross the pit, which you click the pillar over it to enter.

    Ranged Gear

    -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-

Range and Magic are the only way to attack Kree'arra, Mage isn't recommended.

Boss Guide Armadyl GWD Empty Pt 2

Post  Savage Admin Thu Feb 17, 2011 10:40 pm

If you bring a War Tortoise bring 3 Extra pouches
with 10 Saradomin Brews and 4 Super restores in it, with 2 ranging potions if you want a better chance to hit. A Healing familiar is recommended but not needed. Fruit bat is a great option as its fruitfall scroll spawns food for you. Using a fruit bat in conjunction with most BoBs will allow you to extend your trip much farther than normal. Bring about 300 to 400 scrolls. Only when you have 88 Summoning should you not use fruit bat.

Your inventory should have 1-3 healing pouches, 300 or more scrolls, 2-3 ranging potions, 8 Saradomin Brews, and 4 Super restores, 2-4 Prayer Potions, a single click
Teleporting device, 200+ Diamond bolts, 300+ Ruby bolts, and the Trollheim teleporting runes if you're teleporting.

Notes - There are no tankers in Armadyl Godwars, and Adamantite bars can help pay
for your inventory. Broad Bolts are great for the kill count and to save space you can purchase a bolt pouch from Hirko the crossbow salesman. He is located in east Keldagrim and sells it for 1500 coins (through chat). The bolt pouch may hold up to 255 of 4 different bolt types (excluding mithril grapple). This item will always be lost upon death.
